AUD/USD Wave analysis and forecast of 13.03 – 20.03: Bearish long-term trend continues.

Estimated pivot point is at a level of 0.7858.
Our opinion: Sell the pair from correction below the level of 0.7858 with a target at 0.7480 – 0.74. In case of breakdown and consolidation above a level of 0.7846, buy the pair with a target at 0.8026.

Alternative scenario: Breakdown and consolidation above the level of 0.7858 will allow the pair to continue the rise up to the levels of 0.80 – 0.82.

Analysis: The AUD continues to fall.
The fifth wave of a long-term bearish impetus continues to develop on the daily time-frame. According to the formed wave structure, we can suppose that only the third wave (3) is nearing completion. If this assumption is correct and the price does not break the critical level 0.7858, it’s logical to expect the pair to drop to the levels 0.7480 – 0.74 within the third wave 5 of (3).

Estimated pivot point is at the level of 0.7645.
Our opinion: Buy the pair from correction above a level of 0.7645 with a target at 0.8060 – 0.8160. In case of breakdown and consolidation below the level of 0.7645, the selling target can be set at 0.75 – 0.7450.

Alternative scenario: Breakdown and consolidation below the level of 0.7645 will allow the pair to continue declining to the levels 0.75 – 0.7450.

Analysis: Presumably, the third wave continues to develop. Within it formed the first wedge-shaped wave of junior level (i) of iii. Correction within wave (ii) has started locally. If this assumption is correct and the price does not break the critical level of 0.7645, the pair will continue to rise to the levels 0.8060-0.8160 after correction.

Estimated pivot point is at the level of 0.7635.
Our opinion: Buy the pair from correction above a level of 0.7635 with a target at 0.7960 – 0.81. In case of breakout and consolidation below the level of 0.7635, the selling target can be set at 0.76 – 0.7550.

Alternative scenario: Breakout and consolidation below a level of 0.7635 will allow the pair to continue declining to the levels 0.76 – 0.7550.

Analysis: Presumably, the development of a long-term bearish impetus has finished. Apparently, the first and second waves have formed within a supposed price reversal, and the third wave is developing. If this assumption is correct and the price does not break the critical level of 0.7635, the pair will continue to rise to the levels 0.7960 – 0.81.
